The town is as much a 'character' as any other and some suggestions here to bring the town to life or drive plot/story would have been great. I wish there was some more on the town events but as your own experience was that the characters felt compelled to finish the prison quickly you really didn't get a chance to use much of the materials, and so that could be why you glossed over it. I remember the start of 2nd series of the West Wing had a similar trope so that the audience could get the 'origins' and feel closer to the personal motivations of each character. Some good feedback including a take away - I'll add a "Flashback" adventure to tie the characters to the Professor with some plot driven reason for him to have the characters do most of the heavy lifting so he's not riding to the PCs rescue. Six new monsters, by Adam Daigle and Patrick Renie.I didn't have time to add my review - I'll rectify. An ancient revenge is reborn in the Pathfinder’s Journal, by F. Expanded rules for creating and running horrific haunts, by Brandon Hodge. A tour of Ravengro, village of mystery and suspicion, by Michael Kortes. “The Haunting of Harrowstone,” a Pathfinder RPG adventure for 1st-level characters, by Michael Kortes. This volume of Pathfinder Adventure Path launches the Carrion Crown Adventure Path and includes: Can the adventurers discover the secrets of Harrowstone and quell a rebellion of the dead? Or will they be the spirit-prison’s next inmates? But when a mysterious evil disturbs Harrowstone’s tenuous spiritual balance, a ghostly prison riot commences that threatens to consume the nearby village in madness and flames. In the years since, the nearby town of Ravengro has shunned the fire-scarred ruins, telling tales of unquiet spirits that wander abandoned cellblocks. When Harrowstone Prison burned to the ground, prisoners, guards, and a host of vicious madmen met a terrifying end.
